In-N-Out has landed in Boise! After nearly a year of anticipation, the iconic burger joint finally opened its doors at Boise Towne Square, marking the second location in Idaho. Eager fans were welcomed by In-N-Out associates on a brisk Friday morning, ready to savor that California classic right here in the Gem State. This expansion has been on everyone's radar, with another spot underway on N. Marketplace Blvd in Nampa, and rumors of a second Meridian location swirling!
The opening day felt smooth and surprisingly low-key compared to last December’s grand debut in Meridian. After the massive turnout back then, the Boise location took some extra steps to keep things moving. Traffic cones lined up along the JCPenney lot, and employees were out with tablets taking orders, keeping the flow steady. But by noon, there were tables free inside and the drive-thru line didn’t stretch as far as expected – a bonus for those craving a quick Double-Double fix!
Chief Operating Officer Denny Warnick and his team opened the doors at 9 a.m., fully prepared. “We don’t do grand openings. We just do everything like a regular day of business,” he said. With no six-hour waits or crowds wrapped around the block, the crew was more than ready for anything.
True to tradition, they brought in their “all-star team” from around the country to train the Boise associates. Once the local team is up to speed, the all-stars will head back to their home stores, passing the torch on to Boise’s very own.
