With the sun shining high and spring in the air, everyone is likely out soaking up all the rays they can! šŸŒž And Iā€™m sure our furry friends are as well šŸ’–


Here are some of Boiseā€™s dog friendly parks for you to choose from whether youā€™re a resident or a visitor šŸ˜‰


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Ann Morrison Park ā€“ 1000 S Americana Blvd: A 153 -acre park with swimming holes and a fenced area. This is the best park for dogs who need plenty of room to run.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Castle Hills Park ā€“ 5350 Eugene St: A quiet 2.2 acre park in the Pierce Park neighborhood.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Manitou Park ā€“ 2001 S Manitou Ave: 11-acre park making it another good park for energetic dogs.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Military Reserve Dog Park ā€“ 750 N Mountain Cove Rd: A great place to hike with your dog. This 734-acre reserve includes an off-leash dog hill thatā€™s a good workout to climb (right behind the new bike park), as well as miles of trails behind it. Some trails are designated off-leash while others are on-leash.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Cypress Park ā€“ 4382 Tableridge Way: A 7-acre neighborhood park with walking paths and views of the foothills.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Manitou Park ā€“ 2001 S Manitou Ave: Half of this 11-acre park is open to off-leash fun during designated hours. Another good park for energetic dogs.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Morris Hill Park ā€“ 10 N Roosevelt St: A quiet neighborhood park making it a good option for older or nervous dogs. Fully fenced and includes a separate area for smaller dogs.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Sunset Park ā€“ 2625 N 32nd St: A little under half of this 10-acre park in Boiseā€™s Sunset neighborhood is off-leash to dogs in the mornings.


šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Molenaar Park - 2815 S Maple Grove Rd: 20-acre park with on- and off-leash options. With walking paths, ponds, environmental education conservation stations and a separate shy dog area.
